🦋 BREATHING+MOVEMENT+SOUND
“Not disaster or disease, stagnation is the worst thing that can happen to a human being ”
Sadhguru
DROP IN CLASSES:
☆ PRANAYAMA/BREATHWORK!
Breathing is not entirely autonomous like the heart’s function. Respiratory muscles, being skeletal, depend on motor neurons. Breathing is automatically initiated by nerve cells of the medulla oblongada but controlled by motor neurons. These motor neurons, under conscious control, allow for temporary delay or suspension of breathing rhythm, such as during speech or a dip in the sea.
Improving breathing is among the most positive changes a person can make. It`s an effective tool for developing awareness, improving health, vitality and connection with life. Breathing consists of both gross and subtle elements. The gross side involves oxygen, nitrogen and other air elements, while the subtle side involves prana, the life force activating mind, body and consciousness.
Centuries ago, ancient yogis deeply understood respiration`s role in producing energy in the body. They developed Pranayama, a branch of yoga focusing on breathwork techniques to increase resting breath hold time (B.H.T.)
This was their secret to achieving optimal health, peak strength and performance, emotional and mental well-being, spiritual connection and wisdom and incredible longevity.
Today, modern science has recognized the link between breath hold time and longevity. Evidence-based research shows that training to increase your B.H.T. can lead to optimal health and longevity.

🦋 YIN YOGA
Yin Yoga is a form of Yoga which focuses on stretching the deep connective tissues such as the tendons, fascia and ligaments to improve overall flexibility, circulation and range of motion.
It is important to note:
In Yin Yoga sequences, the use of muscles is kept to a minimum. This makes the use of props like cushions and bolsters essential to hold those poses for a longer duration of 5-10 minutes.
It is also very important to breathe correctly through a Yin Yoga sequence of asanas. The emphasis is on relaxed belly breathing. When we take long, slow and deep breaths we allow our body to relax, enabling us to be in a pose for a longer duration of time.
A few of the many benefits you can gain from correct Yin Yoga practice are:
• Improved overall functioning of the body and vital organs
• Emotional balance and clarity
• Improved overall range of motion
• Stress release
• Prevention of migraines

🦋 YOGA FOR BACK PAIN
Most back pain starts with postural distortions which results in an imbalance in the fascia and muscle tissues.
Postural distortions are often caused by repetitive movements or habitual patterns such as extensive sitting or slouching. Because the activity is repeated so often the body naturally develops imbalances in strength and flexibility in the front, the back or the sides.
A gentle yoga practice can be of great help in reducing pain.
Yoga asanas along with slow, conscious breaths can provide relief to back pain patterns and it gives them the right support to take care of their pain and prevent serious complications.
Of course yoga is not a replacement for physical therapy or a medical practitioner’s advice.
However, using specific asanas in the right sequence and with due consideration to an individual’s medical diagnosis does work.
In these sessions you will move mindfully through a 60 minutes anatomy focused practices to help you find relief and comfort.

🦋 YOGA NIDRA
Yoga Nidra is a powerful technique in which one learns to relax consciously. To achieve complete relaxation I must maintain my awareness. Yoga Nidra is a deep technique of relaxation and personal development. It is a systematic method that causes complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. The term comes from two Sanskrit words: yoga, meaning union and nidra, meaning sleep. During the practice the person appears to be asleep but their consciousness operates at a deeper level of awareness. In this borderline state between sleep and wakefulness the contact with the subconscious and the unconscious dimension of the mind spontaneously emerges. Yoga Nidra is performed from the supine position with the body comfortably lying on the floor. The practitioner relaxes lying comfortably and the teacher guides him in a conscious deep relaxation of the body, mind and soul. Through the practice, the student culivates his inner awareness and concentration and at the same time feels a sense of completion, well-being and complete rejuvenation.

🦋 Appointment
Book an appointment for a multi East- West combination of massage techniques and tools, which relaxes body & mind, ease muscle pain and tension, improves blood circulation and restore energy.
The massage technique appeared at th same time as the creation of life on Earth. It is enough to notice the behavior of small children when they rub the place they hit or the baby in his mother’s arms accepting her soothing caresses and her touch. Massage opens up the innate instinctive reactions of man.
The word massage comes from the Greek ‘masso’ which means to knead and includes a set of specialized manipulations and movements used by the science of physical therapy for therapeutic or preventive purposes, but also for rejuvenation and well-being. It is aimed at all ages and socio-economic strata of the population. The manipulations are based on the principles of anatomy, physiology and pathology and are applied to the soft tissues of the human body. They differ by the type, intensity and skill of the therapist. The tools the healer uses are his own hands. No other mechanical means can replace them. The human hand is a ‘tool’ that presents many unique properties because it contains a multitude of nerve endings that ensure it an amazing ability to perceive and detect. A necessary condition is, of course, the developed motor skills and dexterity of the hands.
